⚠️ Historic day ⚠️

We just observed the hottest December day for Spain 🇪🇸 on record with +29.9°C in Málaga.

This heat is hard to comprehend in the middle of December, so near the solstice. The heat is beating records by enormous margins. The airport weather station nearby has data back to 1942 and smashed the previous record here by nearly 5°C 😯

Most holidaymakers head to Malaga or Marbella - but there is somewhere else that is becoming more popular.

Torremolinos was one of the first Spanish resorts along the Costa del Sol that Brits flocked to back in the 1950s.

A recent study found that not only is Torremolinos the happiest spot on the Costa del Sol, but it also has the most sunny days a year, according to a study conducted by IDILIQ Hotels and Resorts.

According to local media, Torremolinos had a record-breaking August with its highest-ever overseas tourists and overnight stays.

A huge new £6million train station opened last year, which, makes it even easier to get to.

Air-conditioned throughout the two bedroom Casa Casablanca comes with a beautiful marble bathroom, flat-screen TV, washing machine, kitchen with fridge and microwave, and free WIFI throughout the property. Towels and bed linen are included when renting Casa Casablanca.

La Carihuela Beach is less than 1 km from the apartment, while Playamar is a 14-minute walk away. The nearest airport is Malaga Airport at 9km. There is a regular train service direct from the airport which takes only 10 minutes - followed by a short 3 minute walk to Casa Casablanca which is in the heart of Pueblo Blanco.
