You can call it sustainable tourism, eco-friendly, carbon conscious...
but we have three simple mantras...
Escape
Casa de Olivos' hillside position gives amazing views wherever you look. The natural surroundings are a wildlife haven, and you are surrounded by space on all sides, giving rise to wonderful country walks lined with seasonal fauna and flora, accessible right outside our gates. From th
e poolside bar area you can look out to the patchwork of working groves and orchards in the valley with almond, carob and olive trees. Or you can simply chill out on one of the seating areas in the our own organic olive groves, reading a book, or watching the swooping birds in the valley, all from the shade of an olive tree.
It’s a place the kick back, relax and escape the hassles of everyday life. Enjoy
Casa de Olivos may be in a rural location, but the accommodation and facilities are definitely not rustic. Here we aim to make your stay as comfortable and indulging as possible. Each apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, and designed with a splash of British style; luxury cotton bed linens and towels, hotel quality mattresses, smart TVs, bluetooth speakers and dishwashers. While the pool terrace offers spacious sunbathing pods for two, beautiful gardens, outdoor kitchen with dining area and outdoor cinema too. All for Casa de Olivos guests to enjoy during their stay. Be Kind
While you’re here, you’ll be living ‘off-grid’. Our primary water source is rainwater collected from the house roof, and so many guests have told us how their skin feels better after using it for even a few days. Our primary electricity supply is from the abundant Spanish sun which our solar array converts into electricity. We re-use water from showers, basins and sinks as irrigation water on the ornamental plants, and we separate and recycle all rubbish waste. With vegetable waste being used to create our own compost which is them used to nourish our organic vegetable patch and olive groves. Keeping Casa de Olivos, and guests, carbon conscious while supporting sustainable tourism…. so being kind to our planet.
