We’ve been closed since the beginning of the year for a full refurbishment, we had closed the villa off until the end of May. However, the refurb is now nearly over and we’ve reopened our diary for the end of May.

Reduced mobility assistance at the airport

Recent guests asked us what they needed to do once at the airport if they had “special assistance” booked with their airline.

We went to investigate...

Enter the departures area at the airport, there are different lanes - parking and roadside access. Do not go into the parking area, make sure you access the roadside drop-off section.

There are 2 ways to notify Assistance.

1. In-between the airport and 2 main door door entry points, there is a little bus stop looking structure. Use the button and it will notify someone you are there, they will come out to you.

2. Using the furthest access doors. There is an adapted area just inside the terminal, enter this area and you will you receive the assistance you need.

Winter always brings with it the most amazing sunsets and sunrises. This was taken last night leaving Yaiza, absolutely stunning!
