Valencia Highlights Orientation Walk:
This tour is given by a local resident who has lived here
her whole life and has an inside knowledge of what makes Valencia truly special and unique. Her perspective will make the city come alive and orient you to all it has to offer. When you walk around the city, she will point out the best pastry shops, restaurants, authentic spots to drink horchata and have churros and chocolate. She can also help you make any lunch or dinner reservations. A highlight of the walk is the Mercado Central, an Art Nouveau gem with stained glass windows and tile floors. It is also a great place to buy gifts and souvenirs such as smoked paprika, saffron, Spanish tuna and local acorn honey. You will also see the best shopping streets, and she is happy to cater this to your interest: fashion, shoes, antiques, wine, art etc. The tour also includes a visit and description of Valencia’s most important building and monuments such as El Miguelete, the Cathedral, the Lonja, San Nicolas and Palacio de Dos Aguas. Tour can be given in English, Spanish or a mixture for Spanish students. Spanish Cooking Class and dinner at home:
