Transport:

Reopen to traffic the north entrance bridge of Torrent, over the ravine of Poio, and the CV-403.

The Generalitat has enabled the bridge that connects the municipalities of Torrent and Alaquàs, which passes over the Poio ravine. The opening of this infrastructure has made it possible to completely restore traffic on the CV-403, which has been closed since last October 29 due to the serious damage suffered due to the DANA.

The construction of a temporary slab at the kilometer point 4+270 of the CV-403, where the structure was damaged, has allowed the bridge to be passable again for light vehicles. At the moment, a provisional lane has been enabled in each direction that will connect Alaquàs and the southern roundabout of Torrent, although heavy vehicle traffic remains restricted on the bridge, as reported by the Generalitat in a statement. The work for the total recovery of the structure, with a large dent caused by the rains, will continue in the coming months.

Mobility restrictions and open roads;

As for mobility, the order of restriction remains until Sunday on the CV-400, CV-403, CV-33 and CV-36 to facilitate the work of the emergency services and public transport. CV-33, CV-390, CV-400 and CV-407 have already been partially opened to enable the connection of the affected counties. In the last few hours, the bridge at the northern entrance to Torrent has also been enabled, which allows the complete reopening of the CV-403, closed since October 29.

On the A-7, which facilitates the connection of the A-7 with the A-3 at the height of Quart de Poblet, passenger cars can now circulate without restrictions. However, goods trucks that make long-distance journeys along the Mediterranean corridor and do not have Valencia or the metropolitan area as their origin or destination can only travel on the A-7 bypass from Monday to Friday between 6:00 p.m. at 06:00 hours, while on weekends they will be able to circulate 24 hours a day.

News:

Mazón apologizes for the management of DANA, but blames the protocols and the Gambling Confederation.

The head of the Council, Carlos Mazón, has recognized in the Courts "mistakes in the management of the DANA", and at the same time has warned that the magnitude of the catastrophe exceeded "the capacities of the established protocols" and has accused the Hydrographic Confederation of Xúquer (CHX) not having alerted in time of the flooding of the Poio ravine.

"I will not deny mistakes, neither is it possible to do so nor would it be useful", said the president in the first moments of his intervention in the Courts, the first to give explanations for the catastrophe, in which he announced a commission of investigation to find out what failed in the forecasting and management of "the worst flood since 1962 in Spain" and changes in the Council [ a new vice-presidency and a ministry of Emergencies ] to manage the post-catastrophe A crisis that, as he explained, "surpassed all forecasts and the prevention, alert and response systems that had been activated during the 1982 flood". "We did the best we could in the situation we were in, with the information we had and the resources we had, but it wasn't enough," he said.

"We do not live in a failed system, the Generalitat is not a failed system, the one who has failed is you, Mr. Mazón." With these words, the general secretary of the PSPV, Diana Morant, addressed the president of the Generalitat this Saturday. "Mr. Mazón cannot continue, it is a popular cry."

The socialist leader has assured that the president of the Generalitat did not "give answers" in this Friday's appearance in the Courts and once again put on the table the impeachment of Mazón, the creation of a technical council to lead the reconstruction and the calling of elections for 2025.
