This week at Turiart, we had the true pleasure of collaborating with Collette Tours for their annual Presidents Club Event here in Valencia.
On behalf of our entire team, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Collette for choosing Valencia as this year’s destination and for trusting Turiart to help design and deliver such a special experience. It has been an honour to showcase our city’s culture, traditions and gastronomy to their distinguished guests.
The event began on Monday, March 3rd, at the spectacular L'Hemisfèric, located within the iconic City of Arts and Sciences. Surrounded by one of Valencia’s most emblematic architectural landmarks, guests were welcomed with an opening celebration featuring traditional Valencian dances — a vibrant first taste of our local heritage.
On Wednesday, March 4th, we had the privilege of organising an authentic Valencian paella experience for more than 200 Collette Presidents Club members at ¨Les Barraques de Ernesto Peris¨ in El Palmar.
Set within the stunning landscape of the rice fields, guests discovered the agricultural roots of our most iconic dish — passing through the very fields where the rice is cultivated before witnessing the paella being cooked live over an open fire. Traditional flavours completed the experience, from Agua de Valencia to tinto de verano and ensalada valenciana, all enjoyed in an atmosphere of celebration and connection.
Moments like these, sharing food, culture and laughter, are what transform events into lasting memories. Judging by the smiles (and very full stomachs!), the experience was a true success. And yes, we hope our friends from the United States embraced one final essential Valencian tradition: the well-deserved siesta.
We would also like to thank Visit Valencia and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana for their collaboration and support. Large-scale international events like this are only possible through strong partnerships and a shared passion for our destination.
