Sometimes things that you’ve never dreamed of happen to you. Last month I had the opportunity to paint a Barcelos rooster on a workshop! It was fun, but difficult! You need to be super calm and focused to make it!

I got my inspiration on the type of roosters done by the artist Rosália Abreu, who likes to do the black and white roosters. In the end I felt like adding a bit of red to it! On the second photo you can see that the heart on the top had a fight with the package and the paint got out a bit.

The last photo shows you the most beautiful accident I made so far - the pencil just touched the figure and created a white heart. If I did that on purpose I would not make a heart, for sure! 😂

Also, just look at the first pic for the most perfect “2026” written by my father! He has a lovely handwriting style ❤️

One nice thing about tourism (that I love) is that it allows cultural exchange. Getting to show your culture and learning more about another is what brings tolerance between nations and what brings people together. In these crazy and weird times, peace is more important than ever!

I had recently a tour with a group from Taiwan and one of the tourists gave me a keychain and 2 pineapple cakes. I’ve tried one immediately and told the group 很好吃！ (tasty)

Then I received a package from the tour leader, with the help of Mercure Braga Centro. It had several gastronomic experiences!

I got some seaweed for my oniguiris (I loooove oniguiris!) and I tried the most tastier bamboo cookies! I am so grateful! 谢谢你们🫶
