He is my dad. At 60 years old he still wakes up at 5am every day to work in our orange fields regardless of the weather.
He underwent a complicated head surgery back in November. I still remember quickly learning all the ins and outs should the worst scenario take place. Thank god, all went well. Against the recommendations from doctors, he was visiting the farms 2 weeks later. He treats the trees like a dad would treat his son/daughter. So I’ve got like hundreds of tree brothers 😆
Despite very low earning margins and (often) losses, he loves his job. In fact, he loves his job so much that, despite graduating as a lawyer, he never stepped into an office. He just wanted to dedicate his life to his real passion - our farms.
His life moto is simple: no matter how big the stone, if you keep hitting, it’ll eventually break. It’s not how hard you hit, but how much you can get hit and still go on. Do what love most and never give up. One day, opportunities will start popping up.
Thanks dad.
