On our way back from a sacred Hamar Bull Jumping ceremony, we came across this dry riverbed the community’s only source of life. For this community, this dry riverbed is the only source of water. As we watched, the Hamar people were digging deep into the sand just to fetch water for themselves and their cattle. It was a powerful reminder of resilience and an untouched, authentic way of life.
Where else could you capture a photograph as real as this? This moment truly made our expedition complete.
