The company was established accordance to the commercial laws of Ethiopia in 1998 E.C /2005 G.C with its former name Kiros Teklu Import and Export. As the company name implies, we have been working in both import and export streams for the past decade. We import different types of building materials from different part of the world. These products include Ceramic Tiles and Adhesives, Sanitary Ware

s, Door Lock and Locking system, Plywood, PPR Pipes and Fittings. We also import industrial inputs like chemicals, machineries, and various accessories. On the other hand, we export Gemstones and Agricultural products to customers located at different parts of the world. EKT Tradet and nvestment currently serves over 300 corporate customers with having huge purchase power. The company presently working with 62 permanent employees and this number is expected to grow as new showrooms will open so soon.

EKT Trade and Investment PLC conducted, in collaboration with TESA ASSA ABLOY, a training program on introducing a range of door lock solutions for 11 different institutional companies and to EKT staffs from Oct 16-19/2017. It was presented by TESA ASSA ABLOY representative in the Middle East.
TESA ASSA ABLOY is one of the world leaders of door lock solution provider and we are the sole distributer for this product in Ethiopia.

Geberit, a Switzerland based manufacturing company, has made a marvelous training to more than 20 plumbers, on October 21, 2017 at AZZEMAN hotel. This training was coordinated by EKT Trade & INVESTMENT Plc. & Geberit’s Ethiopia based coordination office. The training was further extended to EKT staffs at the head office.
Geberit offers a unique range of products and solutions with regards to the sanitary technology & we are the sole distributer for this product in Ethiopia.

8th ADDISBUILD International Construction, Construction Materials and Technologies Exhibition took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia between 13 – 16 October 2017 in Addis Ababa Millennium Hall. 8th ADDISBUILD provided international business platform by enabling participants to catch global investment opportunities, and build their brand in the region. Twelve countries have participated including Turkey, U.S.A., German, Italy, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, India & China are among some. The opening ceremony was conducted by construction projects management institute general director and the ambassador of Turkey .
Almost 5590 visitors had the opportunity to increase their awareness of the sector, share their experiences, and establish new business connections.
