What a day ! If any path to Lalibela exist in this region I've yet to find it, and at present Abuna Josef is my only hope of salivation.
From the edge of this plateau I was suddenly looking down into an enchanting little valley, set deep amidst rough grey peaks. On a floor of red-gold grass tawny - thatched tukuls were surrounded by slim green trees and each color glowed pure and soft in the mellow afternoon brilliance.

በስመ ሥላሴ
"መስቀል ሰይጣንን የሚያጠፋ ምሳር ነው፤ የአጋንንትንም ራሶች የሚቆርጥ ሰይፍ ነው፡፡
መስቀል ርኩሳን መናፍስትን የሚወጋቸው የእሳት ዘገር ነው፤ የአመስቴማውያንንም ሠራዊት የሚመታ የመብረቅ ጦር ነው፡፡
መስቀል ማኅተመ ሥላሴ የሌለው ሰው ወደ እርሱ ሊቀርበው የማይቻለው አምባ መጠጊያ ነው፡፡
መስቀል ከግራም ከቀኝም ለሚመጣ ጠላት የጽድቅ ጋሻ ነው፡፡
ጳውሎስ "ውጊያችሁ ከሥጋና ከደም ጋር አይደለም" እንዳለው መስቀል የጦር መሣርያ ነው፡፡
መስቀል የጦር ውጋት ሊቀድደው፣ የቀስትና የዘንግ ጫፍ ሊበሳው የማይችል የሃይማኖት ጥሩር ነው፡፡
መስቀል አማሌቃውያንን ለመዋጋት በራፊድ በረሐ በተዘረጋው በሙሴ እጅ አምሳል የተሠራ ነው
መስቀል በሙሴ እጅ ወደ ውስጥ በተጨመረ ጊዜ መራራውን ውኃ በሱር በረሐ ያጣፈጠ ነው
መስቀል የቅድስናና የንጽሕና ማኅተም ነው
መስቀል ለሚጋደሉ የድል አክሊል፣ ወደ በጉ ሰርግ ለተጠሩትም የሰርግ ልብሳቸው ነው፡፡"
