Wenchi (Wonchi) Crater Lake is one of Ethiopia's most beautiful natural attractions, located about 155 km west of Addis Ababa between Ambo and Woliso in the Oromia Region. The lake lies inside the caldera of an extinct volcano at an elevation of around 3,000–3,400 meters above sea level.
