Day 7: From Semera to Asayta
We drove from Semera into the Afar region, met Afar nomads and learned about their daily life, enjoyed a boat trip, and explored the lively Asayta Market.

Day 6: Lake Afdera

Today, we visited Lake Afdera, where we walk through the traditional salt extraction areas and learn about the salt production process of the Afar people. After the visit, we drive to Semera, the capital of the Afar Region. Overnight in Semera.

Day 5 Adventure

Today we trekked for about 7 hours from the Saba River to Berahley and what an amazing day it was! Along the way, we crossed several streams and even had the chance to refresh ourselves in the clear waters. Nature, adventure, and a bit of fun this day had it all!

Day 4 – Dallol
Day four was dedicated to exploring Dallol, visiting the colorful geothermal area, the historic Italian potash house, and the abandoned ghost city. In the afternoon, we crossed the vast salt flats and drove to Saba Campsite for the night an unforgettable journey through one of the most extreme landscapes on Earth.
