Kilpisjärvi is the number one place in Lapland to witness the Northern Lights – you might spot them right in the village, or you can join our Arctic Evening Experience. And don’t miss the Tundra Experience – the vast Käsivarsi Wilderness is unlike anywhere else. Come back in summer or autumn and bring your friends along. We’ll take you on guided hikes and leisurely walks, with outdoor picnics in breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, we’ll share stories of our culture and history, and you’ll also get to know our Siberian Husky team.

Winter has ended, but Kilpisjärvi has not hurried into summer. On June 1st, the fells still carry snow. The lake is still frozen and the birch forest is bare. Arctic flowers are still asleep.
Before we fully turn towards summer, we want to say thank you! Thank you to all our guests who chose our guide services this winter! Thank you for your trust, your questions, your smiles and your laughter, thank you for the shared moments! Welcome back to Kilpisjärvi to experience another of our eight seasons!

Our little lady husky, determined, skilled and the true leader of our small pack.
Tuisku knows where she’s going and walks with confidence on the snowy trails.
She has those unmistakable Siberian husky eyes: one brown, one blue – just like her little brother Nekku. They give her a playful, slightly mischievous look that’s hard to forget. 🇺🇸 Meet Nalle 🐾
Nalle is Nekku’s brother from the same litter. He is a friendly fellow, curious and always happy to meet new people. Nalle is one of our husky assistant guides in Kilpisjärvi, joining snowshoe treks together with Martti, your local guide. He loves being on the trail, exploring the snowy surroundings and sharing the moment with our guests.

Walk with Nalle through Arctic Lapland: quiet winter landscapes, animal tracks, wide-open views and a warm cup of berry juice along the way. An easy-paced experience where nature and a husky set the rhythm.
