JooSoap Studio aims to spread knowledge about making cleaning soap from used cooking oil. It involve Upcycle and clean your home! ok. sure.

Stop dumping used cooking oil that blocks the drain. JooSoap: 'Joo' in Finnish means 'yeah. a posi- tive word use often during conversation' and the pro- nunciation of ‘joo’ in Chinese sounds similar to '油', which means 'oil'. Perfect match! ;)

💚What an incredible day at Formosa:Finland:Fest yesterday! A huge thank you to everyone who checked out our eco-soaps and joined our on-site workshops—we upcycled 5 liters of used cooking oil into 5 kg of EcoSoaps at our stand!

Though it was a bit too bustling for deep conversations, we’d love to welcome you to a cozier setting: our seasonal workshops at JooSoap studio near Pasila!

Thank you all for loving our refreshing Taichung Specialty Jute Jelly (麻芛果凍)! ✨ It was also an amazing surprise to meet so many Taiwanese who traveled from Northern Finland and even Europe for this festival!

Thank you .tw and all the teams for making this Saturday so unforgettable! 🤝 The magic doesn’t stop here. True to our mission, we’ve collected the used oil from our neighbor’s Popcorn Chicken stall. Instead of letting it go to waste, we’ll upcycle it into EcoSoaps in our next workshops. See you there! 🌍
💚 昨天的Formosa:Finland:Fest台芬文化節活動大成功！非常謝謝來攤位認識環保皂、並參與現場工作坊的每個人—我們在攤位把 5 公升的回鍋油回收製成了 5 公斤的環保皂！

雖然昨天市集現場比較吵雜，沒能好好坐下來細聊，非常歡迎大家再來JooSoap Studio參加工作坊配台灣烏龍茶(在Pasila火車站附近的美麗溫室)

謝謝大家這麼喜愛清爽的台中特色「麻芛果凍」，沒想到會大受歡迎，也歡迎大家到台中誠實商店採購麻芛果凍材料包，很容易做✨

這次在現場遇到了好多從北芬蘭、甚至歐洲各地特地前來的台灣朋友們，真的太感人！再次謝謝文總還有所有團隊的努力一起讓台灣在赫爾辛基市中心帥一波🤝

*市集的結束正是永續循環的開使。我們已經將隔壁攤鹹酥雞的回鍋油通通裝桶帶回，將會在未來的工作坊中把它們製成環保皂。我們工作坊見！🌍

Thank you everyone for joining our Earth Day co-making! It was so good to see old and new faces in the studio. Together, we upcycled 6 liters of used cooking oil from local restaurants and households into 6kg EcoSoaps! ✨

From our very first eco-soap workshop in Otaniemi Aalto campus in 2011 until today, more than 1,000 people have joined us to make EcoSoap in Helsinki and Finland.

A fun afternoon together!
On June 13, we welcomed a small group of Finnish and Taiwanese students for a cultural exchange workshop — sharing snacks, making bubble tea and eco-soap together.

Special thanks to Dodo for introducing their sustainability projects and beautiful greenhouse. Also big thanks to FEMMA Planning for sharing the taste of Finnish karaoke culture! 🌏💚🎤

It was a beautiful mix of food cultures, stories, smiles, and sustainability. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope this is just the beginning of many more small, meaningful connections!
