This week took our CEO Ken to Mexico City to ORIGENS México 2026!

It was a pleasure to meet clients and travel professionals from Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Panama, all with a genuine interest in discovering our Nordic hideaways in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

We loved the enthusiasm for our destinations, but perhaps even more, the opportunity to spend time together, exchange ideas and build connections beyond the usual business meetings.

As Avant Garde put it so well: “The future of travel is human.”

Last week, we had the pleasure of organising a fam trip through Oslo and Tromsø, introducing our guests to a selection of hotels, experiences, activities and restaurants across the two very different destinations.

The programme gave us the chance to experience Norway in so many different ways! 🇳🇴✨

We explored Oslo and visited Vigeland Sculpture Park, then headed out onto the Oslofjord by RIB, spotted seals along the way, took part in a sauna ritual at the spa and even went kayaking! In Tromsø, we enjoyed Norwegian food, spent time on the water, tried floating and were all smiles as we got to know the huskies during puppy training. 🐾

It was a fantastic mix of experiences and a great reminder of just how much there is to see, do and experience in Norway! ❤️

A big thank you to our wonderful partners for welcoming us, and to everyone who joined us on the trip!

What a proud moment for Finland!

The Aalto Works have officially been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, celebrating the remarkable legacy of Alvar, Aino and Elissa Aalto.

From Finlandia Hall, Alvar Aalto's residence, the Social Insurance Institution headquarters and the House of Culture in Helsinki to the Sunila residential area in Kotka, these iconic sites showcase architecture that continues to inspire people around the world.

Behind every successful cruise operation is a great team. 💙

During the past weeks, our teams in Sweden and Norway worked together across Gothenburg and Kristiansand, handling traditional cruise operations as well as Seabourn charter calls.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, from our colleagues and guides to drivers, suppliers and partners. It takes teamwork to make it all happen.

Greetings from Cruise Team Sweden! 💛🇸🇪

While summer is often a time to slow down, we've been in full swing as the cruise season has reached its busiest months. ☀️

It's been a busy one! We've been out and about across Sweden, managing turnaround operations in Stockholm as well as cruise calls and shore excursions in Stockholm, Kalmar, Gothenburg and Visby. We've also been excited to add Ystad and Fjällbacka to our itinerary this season.

None of this would be possible without the dedication, local knowledge and teamwork of our amazing colleagues and partners. Thank you to everyone who has helped make the season such a success so far! 💙

TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff Mein Schiff Flow – what an incredible experience!

Our Cruise Director, Virve Kataja, had the privilege of joining the shakedown cruise of Mein Schiff Flow in the Adriatic Sea. Beginning and ending in Trieste, Italy, the voyage offered the opportunity to experience this beautiful new vessel firsthand. Mein Schiff Flow is a sister ship to Mein Schiff Relax, which has been a familiar sight in Helsinki this summer.

The voyage also featured a special Finnish connection, as Virve had the pleasure of meeting fellow Finn, Captain Jan Gustaf Rautawaara, who will bring Mein Schiff Flow to Helsinki for her inaugural calls in November and December.

A heartfelt thank you to TUI Cruises, especially Marcus Puttich, Maria Tauschke, Timo Kaden and Kira Bartels, as well as all the wonderful travel companions, for making this such a memorable experience. ❤️

From beginning to end, the voyage was filled with great conversations, laughter and unforgettable moments. And of course, no cruise would be complete without lively evenings on deck, dancing to great music and making memories with wonderful company. 🪩

We are already looking forward to welcoming Mein Schiff Flow to Helsinki later this year ✨

Helsinki celebrates its 476th birthday today!

Founded on June 12th 1550, the city has grown from a small trading town into a modern Nordic Capital, and Helsinki is now known for its architecture, cleanliness, culture, beautiful archipelago and the blend of nature and city life.

Today, the city celebrates with hundreds of free events across the city, inviting residents and visitors to experience Helsinki in their own way.

While the Finnish coastal cities already are popular cruise destinations, the beautiful archipelago also offers versatile opportunities for expedition travel.

Last week, guests from Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic Endurance visited Örö, a former military island in the Archipelago National Park. After docking 3,5 nautical miles from the shore, the guests arrived at the island by RIB boats and continued to explore the island through guided tours, learning about its history, nature and wildlife.

Once closed to the public, Örö now welcomes visitors to experience its unique landscapes, historic fortifications and rich biodiversity. 🦋🐦
