Were you there?! Did you see him?! I do believe 🎅 made his way down Aleksanterinkatu yesterday as part of the Christmas Opening Parade 🎶🌟
The lights of the street are turned on gradually as the parade passes by. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the first time Christmas lights were lit on Aleksanterinkatu. I'll save you the maths, it was 1949 👍
Now just one more week and the Christmas Markets 🎁will open on Senate Square. If you pass by, you can see the huts already being going up 👷‍♂️🏗️

As much as we love 💕 it doesn't always resonate with our guests. One of our favourite alternatives is the not so humble baked potato 🥔. Try with salmon 🐟 or reindeer🦌or even naked, add a few toppings (or many 🤭) and enjoy 😋
We also tried the glöggi - love the 🥰
