Coolcation 💦
Tänään vastaan tuli National Geographicin julkaisu nousevasta matkailutrendistä – coolcationista. Ihana yllätys oli nähdä Saimaa mukana kuuden hienon eurooppalaisen coolcation-kohteen joukossa! 💙
Coolcationissa nautitaan helteen sijaan viileämmästä säästä, raikkaasta ilmasta ja luonnosta. Täällä Saimaalla se tarkoittaa meille rauhallista järvimaisemaa, lämmintä puusaunaa ja virkistävää uintia.
On hienoa huomata, kuinka erityisenä tuttu Saimaamme nähdään myös maailmalla. 🌊🍂

Today, I came across a National Geographic article about the growing coolcation travel trend. What a lovely surprise to see Lake Saimaa included among six amazing European coolcation destinations! 💙
A coolcation is about enjoying cooler weather, fresh air and nature instead of chasing the heat. Here at Lake Saimaa, it means peaceful scenery, a warm wood-fired sauna and a refreshing swim.
