One Day Old – A Tiny Arctic Wonder 🦌❄️

Reindeer calves are usually born in May 🌸. Within just a few hours, they can already stand and follow their mothers 👣.
Each calf quickly learns to recognize its mother by scent and sound — a bond that is vital for survival ❤️.

The first weeks are critical ⚠️: predators 🐺, harsh weather 🌨️, and food availability 🌿 all play a role in their fate.

Here’s a tiny miracle just one day old ✨ — a future grazer in the vast landscapes of Lapland 🏔️.
