Every summer, Finnish forests fill with wild berries. Many Finns pick litres of blueberries, bilberries and other berries to enjoy throughout the year, preserving a taste of summer for the long, snowy winter.

Here at Vaikko, the forest is our pantry. 🌿

Taina Tukiainen picked these wild blueberries from the forests around the resort and used them to make her homemade ‘mustikkapiirakka’, a traditional Finnish blueberry pie.🥧
