🌲Day 4 of the Autumn 2026 Wood Safari took the group to best wood SCHNEIDER in Meßkirch, Germany. The morning was spent at the sawmill, where participants learned about the company's operations, their HewSaw R200 1.1 sawing machine and toured the production facilities.

In the afternoon, the group travelled to Lake Constance, making a stop along the way to watch a Komatsu harvesting demonstration. 🌲

Day 2 of the Autumn 2026 Wood Safari! 🌲

Today, our group visited two long-standing HewSaw customers and had the opportunity to see their operations firsthand.

The morning started at FargesBois, where participants toured the sawmill, learned about the company’s operations, and saw a HewSaw SL250 3.3 sawline that has been producing high-quality timber since 2010.

The journey continued to Scieries des Gardes, where a HewSaw R200 A.1 line commissioned in 1996 is still delivering reliable performance nearly three decades later.

The Autumn 2026 Safari kicked off in Lyon, France today with the first stop being Seignol Henri er Fils SA, where they have a HewSaw R250 A.1.2 which produces pallet stock. The company also manufactures pallets on the same site.

In the afternoon the safari group made a stop at Finnso Bois which is HewSaw’s representative in France.
