On Monday 13 July, a group of young and energetic youth from Karjasilta congregation (in Oulu) arrived for their 2-week tour in Namibia. The tour is a result of the hard work these committed young people have undertaken in the past three years to raise funds to cover the costs of the trip. According to Paula Rosbacka, the leader of the group, the youth were very innovative in collecting funds through bake sales, cleaning, gardening and so forth.
The group visited at the residence of the Ambassador on Tuesday evening to hear more about the work of the Embassy of Finland in Namibia. We wish the youth a very fruitful and safe journey as they visit the northern and coastal towns of Namibia!
