Winter came to Lapland
In Rauhala and on the Jerisjärvi Lake the first snow came on 23.10.13.
Now we have some 7 cm snow and - 1-2 C at noon today.
It is allready more snow on the ice and snow shoe walking is possible,
although winter hiking without snow shoes is still good in this snow.

We are waiting for the World Cup 2013 event next mounth to take place in Levi
and while waiting - we observe the sky to see some northern lights.
