If you caught our stories last week, you’ve already seen the news –
Lily and Target’s litter is here! Seven pups total: six males and one female, all healthy and off to a good start.

Lily brings a more athletic build and a certain type of racing line to our kennel that we’re excited to include in our breeding program. We paired her with Target, who’s a steady, well-built dog with a good head on his shoulders – together they bring the kind of balance and potential we’re always looking for in future sled dogs.

These kinds of breeding decisions are part of how we maintain a strong, diverse population. We’re looking forward to seeing how this group develops.

The puppies from Mäja x Target litter have officially been named! We went with a chocolate bar theme – thank you all for the great suggestions. Here they are: the males are Snickers and Mars, and the females are Bounty, Twix, Tupla, and Kinder.

Summer is when we go back to basics. It’s all about building trust, refining leash skills, reinforcing names, and setting the tone for good behavior. The dogs also get to practice balanced pack life, without the rush of the winter season.

We’re looking for name suggestions for Mäja’s puppies! There are six pups in the litter – two males and four females – and we’re continuing with our snack-theme that we choose for this year’s litters.

Previous litters have included chocolate brands and one wildcard: Tw***ie.

Now it’s your turn – suggest your favorite snack-inspired names! Sweet or salty, classic or quirky – all ideas welcome.
