The Lapland Air Force will organize the Military Aviation as a Profession event on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 10 am to 3 pm at Rovaniemi Airport. Admission to the event is free.
There will again be air shows, equipment demonstrations, and information about the Air Force and many other aviation and security players.

In addition to the Lapland Air Force, the event will also feature Finavia, Airpro, the Border Guard / Lapland Border, the Border Guard Patrol Squadron, Tornio Customs, Lapland Police, Lapland Rescue Service, Lapland Training Centre Redu Aeronautical Study Programme, MPK Air Defence District Lapland Training Site, Women's Emergency Preparedness Association, Military Home Association and the Lapland Air Force Guild .
Lapland Aviation offers free bus transportation to the event from the bus stop in front of the Rinteenkulma Shopping Center (Poromiehentie) to the airport at 9:45 and 12:30, and return trips at 12 and 3 p.m. There is also plenty of free parking in the area (follow the signs on Lentokentäntie).
