According to the Lonely Planet, Finland currently sits at no. 3 among the top countries that you cannot afford to miss. In Finland, you can "expect everything from al fresco concerts and communal culinary experiences to sauna evenings and vintage-travel-poster exhibitions". Moreover, we have many national parks, rivers, forests which provide amazing landscapes for tourists. With such an inspiration from nature, more people are coming to work for the industry, when in 2014, the employment was about 170,000 jobs (6.8% of total employment) and is predicted to rise even more in 2025, with an expected amount of 220,000 jobs offered.
In Lapland. if the summer offers you the incredible midnight sun, then the legendarily beautiful snow and Northern Lights are what you can look forward to in the winter. And of course, Santa Claus. Lapland tourism has given jobs for more than 5000 people, helping people's livings and the number is growing even more.
