Experience an active hiking day to discover the natural beauty and stunning panoramic views from the locals’ most treasured fells! 🤗

Levi is situated in a special area called Fell Lapland, which is home to some of the most stunning fells in Finland. Each of the fells have their own unique charm and terrain, but what they all have in common is the world’s most pure, clean air, untouched nature and the fantastic views. On this excursion called HIKE TO THE TOP, you will explore the unique places where the locals spend their free time, hiking and enjoying nature. The most suitable fell will be chosen for each trip, and the aim is to hike to the top, where the spectacular panoramic views will open in front of you. You can enjoy a packed lunch, all while admiring the view. During the day, your guide will introduce you to the specialties of the seasons, from the midnight sun to the spectacular colors of autumn and the first signs of winter.

Ready for an unforgettable ride in the heart of Finnish Lapland? Here are our tips for a bike trip in Levi

🚵Bike to the top of Levi. This offers an unforgettable Lapland experience that blends thrill, scenery and a true sense of accomplishment! Enjoy a cup of coffee on the top and soak in the view! Or try it at night time and see the beauty of midnight sun from the top.

⛰️Kätkätunturi loop is a must! Combine adventure with stunning landscape. This trail takes you around Kätkätunturi fell that offers mix of forest roads and trails with breathtaking views. This route requires a good physichal health!

🌲 Levi offers a well-maintaned roads where cycling is easy and enjoyable. Explore Levi town at your own pace. Whether you're with family, friends or going solo, biking around Levi is a fun way to take in the sights. Take a dip in lake Levijärvi or Immeljärvi after the ride.

☕There are many huts or like we finns call it "kota or laavu" around Levi area that are in free use. Take your bike to one of these and enjoy lunch by the fire. Be sure there is no forest fire warning in the area.

Most important tip of all: cover yourself from the mosquitoes! 🦟 (use mosquito repellent or long sleeve clothing)

Nature is in the hearts and souls of the Lappish people, and with this excursion you will have the chance to experience it through the eyes of a local! 😊

On this DAY IN THE WILDERNESS CABIN, you can experience the silence, beauty and importance of the Lappish nature, as well as learn some fascinating new wilderness skills! Upon arrival to the forest, you will jump into a small motorboat and the guide will take you over the picturesque, crystal-clear lake to the wilderness cabin. Here you can spend a relaxing day in pure Lappish nature; fishing, picking seasonal berries, collecting fresh natural spring water and making food over an open fire while listening to fascinating stories of the Arctic wilderness. With your batteries recharged, and with some new skills and memories to take back home, you will go back over the lake to the car and return to Levi.

Joyful Midsummer everybody! 🌞🦋🌸

During Midsummer celebrations most of the people in Finland like to take a break from the busy city life and retreat to a quieter place. In Finland over 780 000 people own a summer cottage, which usually means that in these cottages you are only able to live in during the summer when the degrees stay above +5C. Especially young people are celebrating Midsummer traditionally in music festivals all around the country. We have multiple different types of festivals that are specialized in certain music genres, but in many events those genres are all mixed together into a wonderful combination, where there's always something for everybody to listen and savor. Music is normally played on big outside stages, where the people can enjoy both the beautiful Midnight sun and live music at the same time.

The phenomenon of the light summer nights is best observed from the fell tops! 😍

This EVENING UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN trip takes you on a forest hike to a nearby fell. The journey is gentle, but exhilarating. Even though it is “night-time” the natural world is not asleep, and it is not uncommon to come across a herd of reindeer or birds like the Siberian jay or a willow grouse. Enjoy an evening snack and take your time experiencing the Midnight Sun, all while surrounded by tranquil nature. Even if the sky is cloudy and the reddish-yellow color of the sun cannot be seen, the bright summer night of the Arctic is an unforgettable experience in itself.

Visiting huskies on their summer holidays is a great way to get to know these enthusiastic Arctic animals! 🐶✨

Upon arrival to the husky kennel, you will be welcomed by eager and friendly barking, as these dogs are keen to get to know you! Your guide will share their knowledge of the life of the sled dogs. During the EXCURSION TO THE HUSKY KENNEL, you will have a chance to grill sausages and enjoy a drink around the campfire. After the visit, it is time to say goodbye to the furry friends for now.
