Arriving in Lapland by train this summer to cycle?

We’ve got you covered! 🚲

Whether you’re jumping off the train in Kolari or flying to Kittilä airport and heading all the way to the Arctic Ocean in Alta, Norway or doing it the other way around, our weekly transfer service is here to make your Arctic Post Route adventure as smooth as possible.

We roll in a comfortable minibus with a dedicated bike trailer, taking up to 8 cyclists with their bikes and full gear.

We also handle bike only, bike box, and equipment transfers without a passenger.

Running weekly July through September between Äkäslompolo, Kolari, Kittilä and Alta, Norway.

We also take care of accommodation on your arrival or departure day, as well as any other arrangements you might need along the way. Just show up and focus on what matters most, enjoying your holiday. We’ll sort the rest.

The nights haven’t lost their magic just yet.

There is something special about this time of year. It feels like winter and spring overlap for a moment. Nature is waking up, but at the same time it is giving you one last beautiful light show before the bright nights and midnight sun takes over.

It is not as brutally cold as in the middle of winter, but the skies are still dark enough for the auroras to show up properly. And when they do, they can be absolutely stunning. Soft green waves moving across the sky, sometimes calm, sometimes bursting into motion.

If you have been thinking about going out to watch or photograph the auroras, this is your chance. These moments are still here, but not for long.

Spring in Lapland just hits different.

Hop on your e-fatbike, no big plans, just ride. The trails are still holding in places, a bit softer in others, but that’s part of the fun. You don’t have to push too hard, the assist keeps things smooth so you can just enjoy the flow.

Sunlight actually warms your face, birds are back, and you can hear the snow slowly melting around you. Every now and then you just stop for a moment, take it all in… no rush, nowhere you have to be.

And of course – break.
Hot drink from a thermos, gloves off, sun on your face. That’s when it really hits you: this is what it’s all about.
