Thank You for the summer season 2024! Since 3rd week of June, we have had several guest groups every single week exploring Finland by canoe, kayak, bicycle, horse, foot, train, boat, and car. Authentic experiences, meeting local people, and a seamless chain of services, that's what matters the most.

A husky safari is the highlight of every winter holiday in Finland! When we ask our guests, what was the most memorable experience of their holiday, in 9/10 cases the answer is the same - the huskies. Despite the very challenging and rapidly changing weather conditions this winter, our partners and their fantastic dogs have created everlasting memories also this winter season.

The most interesting sight in Helsinki no matter what the season is.

Helsinki Central Library Oodi is a living meeting place right at the heart of Helsinki. ❤️📚

The ideology behind public libraries has it that the library is a cultural centre that, in addition to literature and reliable information, also offers diverse and innovative services. This also holds true for Oodi, which is a house of literature and of diverse urban experiences.

Keskustakirjasto Oodi will celebrate its fifth anniversary on 5 December with a diverse programme. Stay tuned! 🎉

At the end of the summer season, we took a weekend trip to the Åland Islands, rented e-bikes, and cycled to the other end from Mariehamn to the hotel Havsvidden. On the way we stopped in Kastelholma for lunch at the lovely Smakby restaurant and visited the medieval castle. The cycling distance all in all about 100km. The weather was just great still in the middle of September.

It's the start of the berry and mushroom season! Today we found the first blueberries and chanterelles.

Take a 4-night self-guided tour around Lake Saimaa in South Karelia as such or combine it as part of a longer tour! This cycle tour starts from Lappeenranta and ends in Imatra. You will get the kind of bicycle you like (a standard trekking bike included in the sample tour but there are also e-bikes, mountain bikes, and e-fatbikes available). Panniers will be given for the cycle tour and your local hosts will take care of your luggage. They will also give you backup support in case you have questions.
