Awesome day on the snowmobiles!

A bit chilly day at -28°C, so we didn't want to venture up into the exposed fells with added windchill, so we used our Plan B lake which is sheltered from the cold winds. It was a marvellous day and the customers loved it. Fire, grilled sausages, hot drinks and as an added bonus, fish were caught!

Thanks to an exceptionally snowy and cold start to this winter, all winter activities* are now up and running in Utsjoki :)

*We still need a smidge more snow for the snowmobiles. But that'll be up and running in a week or so I reckon.

Come join us and have fun in the snow!

What an awesome time we had yesterday on our "Visit a Sami Reindeer Herder" activity. We had 15 German customers and they had such a great time. Hand feeding the reindeer, sitting in the fire hut tasting Reindeer delicacies and hearing about Sami life and then trying the lasso to catch some Reindeer Antlers. Awesome day!
