Hi dear!!
Of course, the first thing I thought of when I saw the Villa was: OMG – people actually live like this!! The views are spectacular. The villa is perfectly clean. I have had the good fortune to travel to several continents but never saw the water from that vantage point. The Villa has a perfect layout for a large family or group – both the indoor and outdoor accommodations seem to be designed for comfort. The patio has all of the benefits of a resort with one extra benefit a resort can’t match – The pictures don’t really capture the size or the quality of what guests are invited to share. I suspected that few people used the Villa based on how well it is maintained. I was very surprised to hear that it is rented out more than it is not! While there are many shops and restaurants in the area you almost don’t want to leave the Villa. I also appreciated that there was room to park our rental. Driving in a foreign city where the streets are narrow and unfamiliar becomes even more taxing if you can’t find a place to park! We parked right outside of the Villa each day and never had a problem.
Thanks John!! You are very gracious and accommodating host!! Considering my very limited French vocabulary, I appreciate your ability to speak so many languages as you so patiently let me try my hand at French!! I’m hoping there are some weeks left to pick from next year! The only negative thing to say is ---- leaving is just not fair. Until next year!!!
