The Gite (Cottage)

Situated in a picturesque and friendly village of Albas, with its narrow streets and champagne coloured stone houses that are famous in this region, this charming gite overlooks the River Lot and some of the most famous Cahors vineyards in the valley.

First floor

A fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. A large cottage style living room and dining room with lots of beams, a large open fireplace with wood-burner and a traditional character stone wall. Second floor

2 bedrooms (one double and one twin)

A large shower room with hand basin. Terrace with outdoor chairs, table and barbeque surrounded by a small garden and pond. There is a washing machine in the basement and a well stocked wine cellar should you wish to taste a selection of the regions wine! The large private swimming pool (12 metres x 6 metres) is situated on a lower level next to a small orchard and barbeque area. It is reached via a terrace along side the manor house and through the boathouse. The pool area is very private, fenced and equipped with summer kitchen, loungers, chairs, tables and other comforts. During the summer months the pool area receives sunlight throughout the day. Shaded areas can be found in the orchard or under the umbrellas provided. The pool area has lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The large paved patio has plenty of room for you to lay back in loungers and relax. The boat house is well equipped including a table tennis table, 6 bicycles and fishing rods for you to use, and fridge for your cold drinks. A selection of paperbacks and games are available for your holiday enjoyment. Hot tub for 4 people with spectacular view of the river and surrounding vineyards. Gite Tariff 2021

Entre vignes et vallée, "Albas la jolie" est un petit bijoux perché. À plus de 50 mètres au dessus du Lot, Albas veille à la fois sur la rivière et le vignoble de Cahors. Outre un port, cette cité était aussi une place forte et la demeure des Évêques de Cahors. Pour y accéder, traversez un pont, il offre une vue sublime sur le village. 🍇🤩
