people. Enjoying more than 300 days of the Mediterranean sun each year, Casa Sola, is located just outside the small, rural and historic village of Arles-sur-Tech. Nestled on the lower slopes of the Pyrenees, with views of Mount Canigou and the surrounding foothills, it is the perfect base to explore the Pyrenees-Orientales region of Languedoc-Roussillon. We are a 45-minute drive from Perpignan and the Mediterranean sea, and just 25 minutes from the Spanish border. Casa Sola enjoys spectacular panoramic views from its terraces and mountain garden. It is an ideal location if you want to relax, but perfect for those who want to get out and about on foot, bike, motorcycle or car.

When you stay at Casa Sola, whatever the season, as you travel around you’ll see this magnificent mountain. the sacred mountain of the Catalans, classified as “Grand site de France”, it is 2784m high and is the emblem for the region. We have lived here for over 10 years but seeing Canigou is still exciting even when we see it almost every day. Book your stay at to enjoy not only this beautiful view but all that our region has to offer from the to the there’s so much to see and do.
