Stalking storks in our trees and fields! They were undeterred by the wild boar hunt and I wondered if they were shape shifting wild boar in disguise as storks! Stranger things have happened! Like the bat on our fly blind and the funny little wide mouthed baby swallows that cheep at us as we pass, and the giant sunflowers we have grown!!

We have two weeks left available this summer- the 5-19th July !! (Due to holiday deferal to next year). in our ancient priory that sleeps up to 10 with huge pool 12x6m, on 3 acres with no neighbours. Our visitors especially the small ones love to visit our chickens, rabbits, cats and sheep with lambs. We are 2km from the market town of Aulnay in the Charente Maritime which is on the Santiago de Compostelle way. We have lakes and rivers to visit nearby and child friendly animal friendly zoo and donkey sanctuary. One hour will bring you to the coast but most of our families are happy to stay at home at Sept Fonts which is a haven of peace and tranquility. Do check us out on www.septfonts.fr

Il nous reste deux semaines de libre cet été, du 5 au 19 juillet ! (Annulation ) Offre spéciale ! Célébrez le 14 juillet en France ! Notre ancien prieuré peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes et dispose d'une immense piscine de 12 x 6 m, sur un terrain de 1,2 hectare sans vis-à-vis. Nos visiteurs, surtout les plus petits, adorent rendre visite à nos poules, lapins, chats et moutons avec leurs agneaux. Nous sommes situés à 2 km d'Aulnay, ville commerçante en Charente-Maritime, sur le chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Nous avons des lacs et des rivières à visiter à proximité, ainsi qu'un zoo et un refuge pour ânes adaptés aux enfants. La côte est accessible en une heure, mais la plupart de nos familles apprécient de rester à la maison à Sept Fonts, un havre de paix et de tranquillité. We have one week left available for your summer holidays the 12-19th July! We can sleep up to 10 in our ancient priory and small farm near Aulnay in the Charente Maritime. We have lakes and a huge pool. You can walk or cycle to the lovely market town of Aulnay (2km) along a quiet rural track. We are easily accessible with a good choice of airports around and 4 hours to Saint Malo. (La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Limoges, Nantes and more.). The sea is an hour away and there are swimming lakes and river beaches. There's lots to do in this area. Celebrate Bastille day in France!

Celebrating Mayday, Beltaine and the beginning of May with a trip to La Rochelle, a visit to the cathedral, lunch out and a swim at plage Chef de Baie, and a great fire for Beltaine.. the flowers are wonderful at this time of year with all the beautiful sunshine. Roll on summer!
