Nothing better that finishing a busy week at our favourite drinking hole. Great people and great atmosphere at the Cafe Laitgendaire Bar.

Will definitely be at the top of our recommendation list for our guests! 🍺🍲

She's a hard worker that wheelbarrow but Cheryl commands her beautifully! 😂🤣

Then we had another unscheduled delay due to the whacker plate, we had borrowed, broke whilst in our care! 😪😪

Then had to source somewhere to hire one! Cheryl loved it!😵‍💫

But finally ready for concrete floor! 🥳🥳

Once sewage was sorted the next task was shifting in all the aggregate. Near enough 5 tons in the end! 😓😥

It may seem like we have been quiet lately but we have been busy!
Attention on the Gites at times had to be diverted due to paperwork for both our residency and other bits.

We also had some delays with materials arriving. Whilst we waited though we did have to investigate where the sewage needs to go!

That was a fun job

There was so much clay I had to get Cheryl on the Kango drill to loosen it!

We are now back with renovations mainly with more preparations for the concrete floor.
It's been more back breaking than we expected due to the clay soil.

It has been a while since our last update.
We have had some time away from work on the Gites as there has been paperwork and medicals to deal with for our residency.
Plus as spring has arrived the main garden needed tending too.
There was also the six nations rugby that had to be watched!
