We ended our trip with a relaxing few days in Maui. With many attractions closed and/ or just reopening after the recent flooding, we made the most of our time at the resort. It had incredible pools, a rope swing, and water slides that fed into a lazy river. The sunsets were stunning, and we even got to watch the moon rise over the mountains. They had an amazing restaurant named after the state fish, called Humuhumunukunukuapua'a. Try and say that 3 times, lol!
All in all, it was a great trip and we are super grateful that we were able to do another amazing trip on points! There are some awesome Hilton credit cards available right now. This link shows all the American Express offers at this time, but we highly suggest checking out the free Hilton card or the Hilton Surpass card ($150 annual fee). Aloha from Hawaii!! 🌺 We just wrapped up an incredible 5-night stay on the Big Island, taking in its diverse climates and stunning landscapes. From cascading waterfalls and lava tubes to black sand beaches, plus stops at local breweries and coffee plantations—this island truly offers a bit of everything. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa, where the highlight was the incredible saltwater lagoon, home to sea turtles, eels, vibrant tropical fish, and even an endangered monk seal.

We snuck off for a few dreamy, kid-free days at the gorgeous, adults-only, all-inclusive Hermitage Bay resort in Antigua and Barbuda...and wow, it did not disappoint! We were lucky to score one of the higher-up villas with a massive balcony, a private plunge pool and views for days! The hike up there? Let’s just say it counted as our daily workout (although, they did offer a golf cart ride for those feeling less ambitious). The farm-to-table meals were absolutely incredible and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. This place is truly a hidden gem if you’ve got Hilton Honors points to use. While we are super sad to say goodbye to paradise, we are so excited to squeeze our little guy again soon. 💗

We spent our time in Tulum exploring a couple of different cenotes, a sculpture and art exhibit and a fresh water lagoon. There sure are many hidden treasures in the Yucatan Peninsula and this trip definitely did not disappoint!

Bonjour and Merry Christmas from Quebec City and Montreal! We absolutely loved the historic cities, wandering the charming cobblestone roads and visiting festive Christmas markets. In Quebec City, we rode the funicular connecting the upper and lower town, and of course, no trip is complete without a ride on the historic 1884 toboggan. We stayed at the stylish boutique hotel Monsieur Jean, where the festive, whimsical decor made us feel like we were in a Christmas fairytale. During our time in Montreal, we visited the largest log cabin in the world and squeezed in some snow tubing and ice skating. This trip has truly gotten us into the Christmas spirit. We kicked off our winter break with a stay in the beautiful Wolf Chalet at Parc Omega near Montreal, Canada. Parc Omega is a wildlife park that offers a drive-through safari experience where you can see elk, deer, foxes, bison, wolves and many other animals. You can feed the elk and deer carrots and they have learned to surround your car for a treat before they will let you pass. The wolf chalet overlooks a wolf sanctuary that houses grey and artic wolves. The enclosure is quite large, so it sure is magical when they grace us with their presence. We even had a "moment" with one of the wolves, when it stopped and locked eyes with us through the window. This is a must do if you are ever near Montreal! 🐺

We wrapped up our week in Belize with an awesome day on the water, fishing and harvesting conch shells. Kai even got to try spearfishing, which he reports, is much harder than it looks. While we lounged on the beach, our amazing guides prepared conch ceviche and all the fish we caught. We ended our day swimming with sting rays and nurse sharks. All in all, it was a great end to our trip! 🦈

Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃 We are so grateful to have spent the past week at Mahogany Bay Resort and Beach Club. Golf carts are the primary mode of transportation around the island. Road conditions are not the best (especially when it rains), creating a wet, bumpy and adventurous ride. We lounged at the beautiful beach club, toured San Pedro town, visited the famous Palapa restaurant and braved the hour drive to Secret Beach. We loved viewing the various wildlife, including crocodiles, birds, and iguanas. We even spent a day on the water where Kai was able to try spearfishing and we swam with the nurse sharks, sting rays, and a bonus lemon shark (will upload videos later).

The final stop on our summer journey was Prague. We ❤️ Prague! The rich history, winding cobblestone streets, and storybook architecture make the city feel like a real-life fairytale! We had the chance to try a traditional beer bath- an old but unique practice where you soak in a warm tub filled with hops, yeast, and other natural ingredients used to brew beer. Not only is it great for your skin, but there is also a self-serve beer tap connected to the tub! The experience is family-friendly... even Kai had a blast (minus the beer, of course).
We enjoyed a memorable lunch inside an ancient cave. But Kai’s highlight of this leg was dining at a super hip, train-themed restaurant, where a toy train delivers your food and drinks right to the table. All in all, Prague was full of charm, history, and unique experiences and we really enjoyed our time there!
