We are a retired English couple that have relocated to beautiful rural France to enjoy a slower pace of life...well that's what we thought! We offer our intimate Gite for self catering holidays and short breaks for couples. You can contact us directly or through Airbnb, TripAdvisor, VROB or Holiday France Direct. We love welcoming our guests and sharing the rural setting and the amazing places to

visit in this quite part of France. Since we've moved we have been busy renovating our barn into our home and lovingly converted a horse stable into a delightful stone gite. The work has been hard but most definitely worth it, the thought of cheese and wine in the evening kept us going. Our aim is to ensure our guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We're close enough to give you any assistance you may need but far enough away for you to enjoy your privacy. We are situated less than two miles from the village of Bais (prono. Bay) This typical French village is complete with a tabac and bakers and has a small local market outside the church every Wednesday.

Review:
We absolutely loved the location of this place. The surroundings were beautiful and the little garden is gorgeous and very private. There's no trafic passing by at all. It's an ideal place to stay if you want a relaxed vacation away from all the hustle and bustle back at home. ;-)
The house itself is tiny but has everything you need, including dishwasher and washingmachine and a good shower. We got lots of good recommendations for things to do in the neighbourhood: hikes, cute villages, markets in the bigger cities, restaurants... we were surprised how quickly the week we spent here went by!

Située en pleine campagne sans aucune nuisances de bruit ou de lumières artificielles, cette petite maison est charmante, comme ses propriétaires ! Le jardin est aménagé en espaces dédiés au farniente, au repas. Un petit coin de Mayenne très valloné. Ballades à pied. Beaucoup de sites historiques à decouvrir dans les 20km à la ronde. Pas de surtourisme ! Un vrai bonheur. Trish parle un adorable français ! Elle est très accueillante. Dean parle très peu français et il est très disponible comme Trish.

Located in the countryside, without any noise or artificial lighting, this little house is charming, just like its owners! The garden is designed with spaces dedicated to relaxing and dining. A small, hilly corner of Mayenne. Walks are possible. Many historical sites to discover within a 20km radius. No overtourism! A true joy. Trish speaks lovely French! She is very welcoming. Dean speaks very little French and, like Trish, is very available.

Intimate stone-built stable, suitable for couples in a rural setting

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce joli petit gîte situé en pleine campagne. Le gîte est très bien équipé et petit plus, les oeufs frais du poulailler chaque matin ! Merci à Trish et Dean
