Just an hour from Bordeaux, a complete change of scenery: welcome to the Arcachon Bay!

Head to Lège-Cap Ferret, where you can enjoy oysters in an oyster hut overlooking the water.

How to get there from Bordeaux?

🚗 By car
Allow around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Take the direct route to Cap Ferret: you’ll pass through pine forests and oyster-farming villages before arriving at the Bay.

🚆🚤 By train + boat
