Finally getting round to knocking the new website into shape. Part of the delay was dues to preparing the Audrey May for its seven year survey. The trip back was windy and rainy thanks to 'Tempete Amelie'. So was very happy to regain the home berth at Castets. Thinking of offering a cycle ride down to Agen for next season

So why put up a picture of old man grinning outside Toulouse railway station? ... because I am leaving after arriving at 11pm the night before 120miles from my starting point at Castets-en-Dorthe. Yes, 192kms in rain and sunshine along the Canal de la Garonne.

For those who fear that should they undertake a cycle tour around Bordeaux there will be nothing available to eat except that foreign muck rest assured that fish and chips are now available in Bordeaux and on Sunday mornings the riverfront market now hosts a van offering 'Traditional English breakfast' Photograpic evidence
