Wines by Locals is finally live. It grew out of conversations, shared ideas and a great deal of work.

The starting point was simple : to bring our vineyards to life through the people who shape them, and to tell their stories differently.

We believe a believe a bottle tastes better when you don’t know what’s coming. So we send six or twelve, chosen by us, with no list in advance.

The white came first as they always do. The reds will be next. And between now and October, every estate in the region is working from dawn until dark.

This is the best time to be here, and most propose don’t know it. The light is long, the vines are heavy, and there’s a real energy in every cellar you walk into.
