A great day out to be had at the Wings Aviation Museum - I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there!!

Why not treat your Father to a visit to the museum today, come and meet Lilly Bell II, our famous DC-3/C-47 Dakota, later in her life was was used in the filming of Band of Brothers and James Bond.

You are able to walk through her and see inside the cockpit and she also wheelchair friendly.

We are open 10-5pm 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday

What's not to love about Normandy!!!

During these uncertain times, L'Auberdiere remains open to guests. We have in place enhanced cleaning processes and enforced shut downs between bookings to mitigate the risks from Covid-19 as much as we can.

This summer has been far from normal for anyone but we have been pleased to be open and able to welcome return guests and new guests who have greatly enjoyed the peace and escape to nature that our farm provides.

We have some available dates remaining for 2020 and we are taking bookings for 2021 which we are hopeful will herald a year recovery and normality for us all.

To all our guests who have already booked a stay at L'Auberdiere in 2020 and all those thinking of making a booking, we are pleased to announce that we are open for business and look forward to welcoming you to Normandy! This past few months has seen a lot of changes in the world and a number of guests have had to cancel or re-arrange their plans for this year. We are trying to be as flexible as possible with changing bookings so please just ask if we can help you with your holiday plans.

On a wet and windy day late February, it appears Mother Nature is thinking spring is around the corner.

I spy the pear blossoms about to flower, the daffodils are out and the grass has started to grow.

We look forward to welcoming all the summer wildlife, as well as guests, throughout the warmer months.

As the autumnal sun sets, the fruit at L’Auberdiere is almost ready to pick. Apples, pears and blackberries as far as the eye can see. Sweet chestnuts and sloes too!
