Hello customers old and new

We’ve been a bit quiet of late, as it looks as though our 2026 season is already full

So if you’re looking for holiday accommodation in our area, we’re pleased to share a new gîte in Eymet, run by our friends Nicole and Linda

Hello ornithologists

Thought I would share the current list of birds detected using the Merlin app

I’ve seen many, but not all of them, with the most elusive being the Golden Oriole - I’ve seen them twice, even though I know where to look and their striking colours

There are others I have seen but not heard, such as the Cattle Egret, Black Kite, Grey Heron, Hen Harrier and Short-Toed Eagle

A great excuse for you to spend several hours doing nothing by the pool, with your binoculars and camera to hand

It's that time of year again - the in-between days, after Christmas and before New Year, when thoughts turn to warmer days and getaways.

Here at Les Hirondelles, we are also looking forward to receiving the coming summer's guests.

Our spacious gite can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, whether as a family group, couples, or friends, looking for a base to explore our beautiful rolling countryside and ancient "bastide" villages and towns, enjoy your favourite pastimes such as walking, cycling, photography, well-being, or you can just chill out by the pool, which is there for your exclusive enjoyment.

We have availability from mid-June to mid-July, and then a week or two in early September.
