One spot just opened up. 🏔️

A place has become available on our Climb Mont Blanc — 6 Day Course, 7–12 September. If summiting the highest peak in Western Europe (4,810 m) has been on your list, this is your chance to make it happen this season.

Over six days, our IFMGA Mountain Guides take you from valley to summit: acclimatisation, glacier and cramponing skills, and two nights at the Goûter Hut perched high on the mountain.

This is the last place on the course: if you’ve been waiting for the right moment, this is it. Drop us a message before it’s gone.

Aiguille Crochues Traverse.

Today our guides and took a group across the Aiguilles Crochues in the Aiguilles Rouges, a beautiful alpine traverse with exposed ridges, scrambling and incredible views over the Mont Blanc massif. 🏔️

A big congratulations to .rodrigobelalcazar and Ruriz for an awesome day in the mountains! 👏🏔️

This is what summer in the Alps is all about!

Mont Blanc: our position on the Goûter closure.

A few days ago, the mayor of Saint-Gervais decided to close the Goûter and Tête Rousse huts due to the increasing danger of rockfall.

As a guiding company directly involved in climbing Mont Blanc — with groups up there every week — we want to share our position clearly, for our guests and for anyone planning the climb.

The decision came as no surprise: conditions in the couloir had deteriorated significantly.

This has happened before — 2003, 2015, 2022.... That doesn’t mean the season on Mont Blanc is over.
Mountain conditions can change quickly, and as in past years, the huts may well reopen before the season ends.

We stopped our Mont Blanc ascents well before the mayor’s decision. For the past three weeks, our groups had already been heading to alternative objectives rather than Mont Blanc, because the conditions had worsened weeks ago.

Our job is, above all, to manage the risk of the climb and bring our guests safely home — ideally with the summit in the pocket, but that always comes second.

The mountains don’t care about our plans. Understanding when conditions are simply too dangerous is exactly our job — and the reason our guests put their trust in us.
You shouldn’t need someone to close a hut to tell you that when you’re a mountain guide.

The mountains will always be there. Life is only one.

Right now, all our groups are heading to Monte Rosa as our first alternative — and they’re having a fantastic time (see the photo), even without the Mont Blanc summit.

As soon as conditions change, we’ll reassess and, when it’s right, return to Mont Blanc.

The summit is a bonus. Coming home is the goal.

Congratulations to Harriet and Luke for reaching Margherita Hut (4,554 m), the highest mountain hut in the Alps! 🏔️🎉

After thoughtful preparation and a successful ascent of Gran Paradiso, they stood on the summit of Punta Gnifetti and enjoyed an unforgettable alpine experience above the clouds. 💪❄️

A big thank you to our guide .r for keeping everyone safe throughout the adventure. 👏

See you on the next mountain! ⛰️

Summer has been busy, and we haven’t posted for a while... 😅🏔️

Here’s one of our Mont Blanc Courses from late July.

Due to dangerous conditions in the Goûter Couloir, our guides made the decision to change plans and head to Monte Rosa instead. Safety always comes first—that’s our job, and we’ll never compromise on it. 💙

The week still delivered incredible mountaineering, breathtaking views, and a night at the highest mountain hut in the Alps. ⛰️✨

A huge thank you to all the participants (Dilip Shrestha Eden Richard Connor) and our guides (Martin Russo Andrea Giglioli ) for making it yet another fantastic week in the thin air! 🙌

Haute Route Chamonix-Zermatt - Our guide had to adjust the plans for the first 2 days due to the bad weather, but then the sun came out, alongside great conditions! Congratulations to all the group for making it to Zermatt!

Last week we had an amazing time on our Introductory Ski Touring Course ❄️⛷️
Our motivated guests learned how to nail kick turns, evaluate avalanche terrain, use transceivers efficiently, and understand how snow layers transform throughout the winter.
We even spent a night in one of the most beautiful huts in the Alps, enjoying a proper Italian aperitivo inside a 300-year-old cellar 🍷🇮🇹
Add fantastic powder every day, great people, and big smiles, and you get a pretty special week in the mountains.
Huge thanks to the whole group for the great energy 🙌
