Chaunay Gites

Just getting the barn ready for our returning family of four who have driven all the way from Glasgow. The two boys were instrumental in persuading mum and dad to come back to Chaunay Gites, so there will be much playing of table tennis and evening safaris to look for deer and owls.
The two key fobs were given to us by our dear friend Helen Philpotts after visiting us in the Spring. Thank you very much Helen, a lovely touch.
I will soon be posting the dates that are still available, in case anyone fancies a trip out. At the moment all of September is available in both gites.

We have both gites available as a late booking next week and looking at the forecast it is going to be Hot,Hot, Hot, up to 35 degrees on some days.
It would be such a shame to have them empty so prepared to reduce the rates to £450.00 per week for the two bed gite ( sleeps four) and £300.00 per week for the one bed gite
(sleeps two).

If anyone is on the lookout for a relaxing holiday in rural France then we have lots of availability during June as well as May half term week.
We normally only take week long bookings from Saturday to Saturday, but we are happy to be a little more flexible to accommodate you. Your booking must be for a minimum of five days though.
The cost for our one bed gite (sleeps two) during this period is £45 per night and our two bed gite (sleeps four) is £65 per night.

Flights are available from Stansted to Poitiers from only £15.00 each way, plus the normal extras. You will have to rent a car though. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

An extra welcome pack for our guests this week, freshly picked from our veg plot in the garden. The melons aren’t far off ripening either.
It was great to hear the comment of ‘this place is amazing’ from one of our guests today.
