Uplifting & unwinding yoga practises, meditation, nature - delicious, nourishing & colourful food all set under the warm glow of the French summer sun, for deep connections & space to truly offer yourself time to rejuvenate.

International yoga instructor will be hosting this retreat & is super excited to be returning to the beautiful Maison De La Vaure next year, where magic & memories are made.

Gemma’s teaching comes from the heart with warming yet powerful and creative flows, offering all students the guidance and nurturing to dive deeply inward and reconnect back to self, to allow yourself to go on your own individual journey, unravelling what may have once been blocked or protected to find true inner peace and freedom. We will allow ourselves breathing space to step away from the hustle & bustle of our everyday live to replenish & restore our energy.
This special retreat will be a reminder that we each have a place in this world to come & be free, to take time out, to give ourselves attention and permission to grow, learn, flourish, laugh, explore, to be perfectly imperfect & most importantly rest. This journey will free up space in your body and mind so you can feel lighter, energised and alive, enhancing your experience on your pathway to freedom.

The yoga will be grounding yet uplifting and open to all levels of experience. Finding a sense of discovery, freedom & empowerment on the mat. Morning practises will be dynamic, creative & fun & evening practise will be yin focused, cultivating stillness and space in body & mind through long held poses to open & heal.
The food is fresh, organic and wholesome to cleanse and purify the body, ensuring deliciously satisfying & flavoursome food with a little indulgence & a lot of enjoyment. All dietary requests are catered for.

Catching the sunrise. Waking up with the sun gives you the opportunity to start your day just as the day is getting started, which is a natural experience.

The modern life, however, has different demands and expectations. We are connected to one another like never before. You can start a business in your home, get a client in New York, another in Singapore, and be dealing with huge time zone gaps for communication. Many stay up late, get up early, and keep going until they can go no more.
That’s a sleeping pattern that isn’t natural, but you may not be able to get out of your personal or professional responsibilities. Sleep ‘hygiene’ and the amount of sleep you get is fundamentally to your health and wellbeing. The days (or the nights) of being proud that you can survive on 4 hours sleep a night and still be just as productive with more sleep are long gone. There is mounting evidence to support the theory that sleep is probably the most significant factor effecting people’s overall wellbeing. It’s not just the amount of sleep you get that counts either. The consistency of your sleep patterns may be just as important and whether natural light has ‘woken’ you mind and body up. Your circadian rhythm could be the key. A circadian rhythm is a natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours.

Circadian rhythms can influence sleep-wake cycles, hormone release, eating habits and digestion, body temperature, and other important bodily functions. It could be the code that controls the factors that are causing some of the most chronic diseases that society are experiencing.

Try getting up early and resetting you circadian rhyme by watch the sun come up. Sunrise is a thing of beauty, a natural wonder but also the trigger that your body needs to kickstart the endocrine system, raise your metabolism in readiness for the day ahead. So go set that alarm, stay away from the snooze button and start the day with nature’s finest spectacle. P.S. it also helps having a beautiful beach at the foot of your villa in Thailand!
