OK. Lady Losthercomb of Twisty Towers is adding a few more images - then it's back to reality and getting curtains done, more lights up, paint retouched, paintings hung. The river is rising, the bare trees let the house flood with light...a light touch of snow would be classy, for Christmas. Shall light a fire in the salon. À bientot

Hi everyone....well, the sequel to Maison la Ruche is now up & running, as from 1st January 2017. Adapting a 15th century Renaissance townhouse has been challenging, but with family, friends, helpful hounds and as little money as possible I seem to have achieved what I set out to do, a year ago. There will be tweaks and hiccups, and probably a few plumbing disasters, but one's always prepared.
