Christine, Ken and Charlotte are looking forward to welcoming one of there new holiday lets available from the 1st May 2026.

La Vigne des Enfants is a beautiful three bedroom house that sleeps 8 people. It is located in 5.5 acres of garden for you to enjoy and has its own garden and raised patio, with outdoor eating area with bbq (1 bag of charcoal and fire lighters provided), and sunbathing facilities by the pool.

Free wifi is available, apps are available on the 65" Television.

The property has a large open plan lounge and dining room with balcony of the lounge, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor and three large bedrooms on the first floor. The beautiful staircase in the turret leads from ground to first floor and has balconies either side.

The lounge has comfortable sofas and chair and pool table and the dining room has a large marble top table which seats eight people comfortably.

The bedrooms are located on the first floor, master bedroom has a super kingsize bed with balcony and Jack & Jill bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 3 has two double beds and its own sink (it shares the Jack & Jill bathroom with the master bedroom).
Bedrooms all have wardrobe space (with plenty of coat hangers for adult and children’s clothes), chest of drawers for clothes storage and bedside tables. All bedding is included.

Air cooling units are provided in each room, for the warmer months.

Hot water is available 24/7. Towels are included for all guests. Toilet roll, shampoo and shower gel are also provided for the duration of your stay.

The kitchen is fully functional, for that home from home feel, with hob, oven, pots and pans, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, blender and coffee machine.

Crockery, cutlery, glassware are provided for both indoor and outdoor use. Washing/cleaning detergent, kitchen wipes and kitchen towels are provided.

We cater for younger children, the following equipment (free of charge) can be provided. Cot (normal wooden coat, sleep up cot, or travel cot), changing mat, gates for the top and bottom of the stairs, high chair, baby bath (with baby towels), potty, toilet seat and appropriate toys for indoor and outdoor use.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival which includes fruit, bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, milk, orange juice, bottle water, choice of tea and coffee, sugar, wine and beer, pasta and sauce (there may be some changes depending on time of arrival of guests to suit their needs), changes can be made to the welcome pack to suit allergies.

The beautiful in-ground relaxing pool (12m x 7m) is available daily between 9am and 8pm from 1st May to end of September. Pool towels are provided for all guests. Two hot tubs available from 1st May to end of September.

In the communal outdoor space, the roof terrace there is:

It's that time of year again, when we all start thinking about our holidays or long weekends away or even a mid-week get-away.

We are taking bookings for 2026 for our holiday cottage, Dugal Cottage.

If you are thinking of spending time in the beautiful South West of France, come to Chirac/Chabanias, there are lots of activities in the area and some beautiful Chateau's, Lakes, towns and villages to visit.

Dugal Cottage is located in the main grounds of La Vigne des Enfants, there are 5.5 acres of garden for you to enjoy and Dugal Cottage has its own fully enclosed secure garden with bbq (1 bag of charcoal and fire lighters provided), gazebo and sunbathing facilities.

Free wifi is available, apps are available on the 65" Television.

The master bedroom is located on the first floor with kingsize bed, also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with two full size single beds and dressing area, the ground floor bedroom has a double bed. Bedrooms have wardrobes (with plenty of coat hangers for adult and children’s clothes), chest of drawers and bedside cabinets for clothes storage. All bedding is included.

Air cooling units are provided in each room, for the warmer months. Electrical wall heaters are provided for the cooler months.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor for easy access with electric towel rail (hot water is available 24/7). Towels are included for all guests. Toilet roll, shampoo and shower gel are also provided for the duration of your stay.

The washing machine is located in the laundry area in the house and washing machine detergent/softener are provided. There is a clothes rack and outside rotary line for drying clothes.

The kitchen is fully functional, for that home from home feel, with hob, oven, pots and pans, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, blender and coffee machine (dishwasher will be available from 1st May 2026).

As we come to the end of the busy summer holidays, we have had another great year hosting some great families and their friends. We have had great 5* reviews again. Thought I would share this one we have just received.

It's hard to adequately express how wonderful our visit was to Chirac and stay for a week at this beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, clean and welcoming gite. Christine, Ken and Charlotte are everything first class hosts should be; helpful, friendly, discreet, welcoming and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Christine understands her locality really well and always has really helpful suggestions, and lots of ideas are provided in the pack. The welcome, and the welcome pack, was warm, welcoming and very refreshing after our long journey. The accommodation was super comfortable and in excellent condition. The facilities were the best of any gite we have stayed in. The pool was clean and so refreshing on the hot days, the hot tub was relaxing and luxurious and the games pavilion was lots of fun with much to play and enjoy! The private garden with barbecue provided gave us a couple of excellent evenings. I cannot recommend this gite enough, it is the best one we have stayed in ❤️
