Still hanging on to summer here at La Maison with breakfast and lunch being taken outside. Thanks to Nic Davey lunch today mostly consisted of fresh produce from the ever giving garden ☀️🇫🇷

Another summer’s evening, another Marché Nocturne. This time at Fontet for an event advertised in our local paper. Being able to introduce our guests to these events and catch up with friends is a pleasure. Everybody enjoyed the ambiance, music and good choice of food ☀️☀️🇫🇷

For those who wish to venture further into SW France, you can reach Toulouse in just under two hours and Carcassone in two and a half from here. We have been able to visit both in the last few weeks and enjoyed them both 🇫🇷

The joys of cutting grass after such a wet spring. Managed to plant the mower in a damp part of the garden. Pulled it out myself no problem with the help of the van. Problem was the van then also decided to plant itself. Fortunately we know someone who is always in hand to help with such ‘life in the country’ issues. iMad found it highly entertaining!

10kg off one tree thanks to the efforts of Nic Davey this afternoon. Bumper crop of Mirabelles again this year and the discovery of two new fruit giving trees on the other side of the lane ☀️🇫🇷
