What a weekend at the Famvia Fam Bash! ✈️🥂💕

This year’s Fam Bash was held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and here’s a little random history for you—the Contemporary’s conference center was the site of Richard Nixon’s famous 1973 “I am not a crook” press conference. 😳 Definitely did not have that on my Disney bingo card! 😂

Anywho…back to TRAVEL! ✈️

We spent Friday and Saturday learning, laughing, connecting and getting inspired alongside some pretty amazing people.

Our beloved CEO, Ben, shared all the latest Famvia news, updates and what’s ahead for the company, while our incredible leaders poured into us with education on everything from marketing from the heart ❤️ to social media, growing our businesses and, most importantly, better serving our clients.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Fam Bash without some fun mixed in—games, team building, lots of laughs and plenty of time getting to know each other outside of our computer screens!

One of my FAVORITE parts of the entire weekend was finally meeting so many people IN REAL LIFE that I’ve “internet known” for the past year. 😂❤️

Especially finally getting together with members of my team, Pier Pressure!

There’s just something different about finally hugging the people you’ve been talking to, learning from and cheering on virtually for so long.

And once our sessions wrapped up Saturday, the fun definitely wasn’t over! It was time for a big group outing to EPCOT for rides, the Food & W**e Festival and, of course, even more team bonding. 🎢🌎🍷

The evening ended in the BEST way with a private dessert party at The American Adventure, followed by our own private viewing area for the EPCOT fireworks. 🎆

🍰🥂 Standing there together watching the fireworks was such a perfect ending to an already incredible weekend.

After two days of sessions and an amazing weekend together, I’m heading home with a full heart, a full notebook, new friendships and SO many new ideas.

I’m excited to take everything I learned back to Ports & Prosecco and put it to work helping even more families, friends and clients create their own unforgettable vacations. 🌎✈️🥂

What an amazing trip on SO many levels—the education, the friendships, the experiences, the laughter and finally getting to spend real time with people who have become such a big part of this journey.

So grateful for Famvia, my fellow travel advisor family and this crazy fun travel advisor life I’ve created. ❤️

✨ Made it to Disney! ✨🏰

We checked into Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and have the cutest room over in the Casitas! ❤️

Spent some time exploring the resort and then settled in for a MUCH-needed pool day ☀️🌴🍹 — exactly what we needed!
After cleaning up, we headed back out for the night and decided to resort hop via the Skyliner 🚡. Such a fun way to explore some of the different Disney resorts and take in all the views along the way!

First stop was the Riviera Resort, where we headed up to Topolino’s Terrace for cocktails and their fresh ricotta appetizer — SO GOOD! 🤌🏼 And those sunset views from the terrace… absolute chef’s kiss. 🌅🥂

From there, we kept hopping, grabbed some dinner and eventually ended up over at the BoardWalk, where we experienced AbracadaBar 🪄🍸 Such a cool little spot and the perfect way to end the night.

Pool day + Skyliner adventures + resort hopping + amazing food + cocktails + a Disney sunset = a pretty great first day! 🏰🥂✨

✈️🌴 Ports & Prosecco is heading to its FIRST Famvia FAM Bash! 🥂🎉

I’m Florida bound today for a week I’ve been looking forward to! First stop is an evening with the in-laws, which means one thing… TACO TUESDAY! 🌮 Then tomorrow, we’re off to Orlando for the Famvia FAM Bash!

And of course, I’m bringing my ride or die, Missy, along for the adventure! ❤️ She also happens to have a birthday this week, so you KNOW we’ll be squeezing in some birthday celebrating while we’re there too! 🥳🥂🎂

I’m SO excited to finally meet my Team Pier Pressure crew IN PERSON! 🛳️ We talk, plan, learn, laugh, and support each other from all over, so getting everyone together face-to-face is going to be so much fun.

The next few days will be filled with learning, training, team building, networking, making new connections, catching up with other Famvia advisors…and I’m sure plenty of laughs and shenanigans along the way. 😂

Building Ports & Prosecco has been such a fun adventure, and I love that continuing to learn, travel, and connect with others in the industry ultimately helps me create even better trips and experiences for my clients. ❤️✈️

🍂🦃✨ JUST BOOKED — THANKSGIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS! ✨🏔️

This family is trading the usual Thanksgiving at home for turkey with a VIEW this year! 😍

They’re headed to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for a cozy Thanksgiving getaway in a gorgeous 4-bedroom cabin with plenty of room for the whole crew—including the four-legged family members! 🐾❤️

Their holiday home-away-from-home has:

🏡 4 bedrooms for the family to spread out
🐶 Dog-friendly because the pups deserve a vacation too
♨️ A hot tub for those chilly mountain evenings

Now THAT is how you do Thanksgiving!

Well, I leveled up again! 🥂✈️

I’m officially a Platinum Travel Advisor with Famvia!

It’s kind of crazy to think that I started at Silver, moved up to Gold, and now I’ve reached Platinum. I’ve put a LOT of time into training, learning destinations, researching trips, and of course booking some pretty amazing vacations along the way.

But the biggest reason I’ve been able to keep moving up is my clients.

Every time you trust me with your family vacation, cruise, honeymoon, European adventure, girls trip, or that “we’ve always wanted to go there” trip, you’re supporting this little business of mine — and I appreciate it more than you know.

I genuinely love doing this. I love the research, I love finding the little details that make a trip better, and I especially love getting the pictures and messages from you while you’re actually THERE enjoying it.

🎃🚢✨ JUST BOOKED — A MAGICAL BIRTHDAY AT SEA! ✨🎂

This one was a little bit of a nail-biter! 😂

A husband reached out wanting to celebrate his wife’s birthday with a cruise aboard the Disney Wish—and with only a few weeks until sailing, availability was TIGHT.

They knew the sailing they wanted. They knew the room category they wanted. And when I went looking…

😳 THERE WAS ONE ROOM LEFT.

Not one of several options.
Not “a few remaining.”

👉 The LAST stateroom available in their requested category on the ship!

You better believe I was in full travel-advisor panic mode until that confirmation came through. 😂🙌

But it’s official! They’re headed aboard the Disney Wish for a 4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise, sailing from Port Canaveral October 12–16, 2026! 🎃🏰🚢

And what a way to celebrate a birthday! 🎂

🎉🚢 I DID IT! I’m officially a CLIA Certified Cruise Counsellor (CCC)! 🥂⚓️

I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve earned my Certified Cruise Counsellor (CCC) designation through Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) — the world’s largest cruise industry trade association.

And this one means a lot to me. ❤️

You may be surprised to know that not every Travel Advisor who sells cruises is professionally certified in cruise travel. In fact, industry research has historically shown that fewer than 1 in 5 travel advisors held a CLIA professional certification.

So what does having CCC after my name actually mean for my clients?

This isn’t a certification you receive simply by taking one online class.

To earn the designation, I had to complete extensive CLIA cruise-industry education and testing, professional development, ship inspection experience, documented cruise bookings, and personal cruise experience.

In other words — I’ve invested the time to really learn this industry, more than my 25+ years of personal cruising ;).

And I believe that matters when you’re trusting someone with your vacation.

There are dozens of cruise lines, hundreds of ships, thousands of itineraries and an overwhelming number of cabin categories, packages, promotions and options.

Anyone can go online and book a cruise.

My job is to help you book the RIGHT cruise. 🚢

The right cruise line.
The right ship.
The right itinerary.
The right cabin.
And the right experience for the way you want to travel.

Professional certifications like the CCC are important to me because I want my clients to know that I’m continually investing in my education, experience and industry knowledge — not simply selling travel.

And I'm not stopping here. 😉 This is just another step in continuing to expand my cruise expertise.

Who says you need a passport to have an adventure? 🍾✈️

Confession time...even travel advisors don't hop on a plane every weekend. 😉

Last week, instead of chasing another stamp in my passport, I played tourist in my own town—and it was exactly the reminder I needed.

A friend was visiting, so we skipped the usual spots and explored somewhere new together.

We wandered through the incredible Carlos Museum at Emory, stepping into ancient Egypt, admiring artifacts thousands of years old, and yes...coming face-to-face with real mummies. (Highly recommend if you're in Atlanta!)

Then we fueled up with a fresh organic lunch, ended the evening with live music from Woody's, and were reminded that some of the best memories don't require TSA, baggage fees, or delayed flights.

✨ Travel isn't just about how far you go.
It's about staying curious.

So here's your Ports & Prosecco challenge this week:

🥂 Visit a museum you've never been to.

🍴 Try that local restaurant you've been saying you'll check out.

🎶 Support a local musician.

📍Explore a neighborhood you've never wandered through.

I'm incredibly honored (and honestly still a little in disbelief!) to share that I've been recognized as one of Famvia's Top 10 Travel Advisors for the third consecutive month!

To be ranked in the Top 10 out of more than 400 travel advisors is something I don't take for granted.

🎶 "Saturday in the Park... I think it was the Fourth of July..." 🎶

Well... this year it actually IS Saturday AND the Fourth of July! 🇺🇸😂

Looks like the guys from Chicago finally got it right... they were just about 50 years early for America's 250th birthday! 🎂🎆

Wishing everyone a day filled with great food, good friends, fireworks, and just enough patriotic music to have that song stuck in your head all weekend.

And if you immediately started singing the song when you read this... congratulations!

You're officially old enough to appreciate good music... and there's a pretty good chance your back hurts a little too. I know some great chiropractors. 🤣🇺🇸
