You can come by yourself for one of our wellbeing retreats (yoga, pilates, cooking, wine, writing, creative…), organise a retreat to your students, enjoy a private retreat with a group of friends (we have fab instructors i

n our network for you to choose from!), rent the property for holidays with friends and/or family, bring your team for work&pleasure or remote office, invite your business clients to a special treat, organise a wedding, anniversary or bachelor party, and so on… We think imagination would most likely be the only limit! Let us help you make dreams come true and create memories that will last for a lifetime.

The Happy Hamlet est situé dans la campagne jolie et ensoleillée du sud-ouest de la France. Une région étonnante, idéale pour beaucoup d’occasions diverses, privées ou professionnelles. Laissez-nous vous aider à réaliser vos rêves et contribuer à vous créer des souvenirs qui dureront toute une vie. Vous pouvez venir seul pour l’une de nos retraites de bien-être (yoga, pilates, cuisine, vin, écriture, création…), organiser une retraite pour vos élèves, profiter d’une retraite privée avec un groupe d’amis (nous avons des instructeurs fabuleux dans notre réseau parmi lequel vous pouvez choisir !), louer la propriété pour des vacances entre amis et/ou en famille, amener votre équipe pour le travail et le plaisir ou un bureau à distance, inviter vos clients d’affaires pour un événement spécial, organiser un mariage, un anniversaire ou un enterrement de vie de garçon ou jeune fille, et ainsi de suite… Votre imagination est notre seule limite !

The crazy heatwave (it's now +29 and I am feeling a bit chilly 😅) had nothing to do with the warmest possible ambiance of this week! Where strangers met and bonded, and when the giggles in the background when preparing in the kitchen made my heart dance wild. Precious to say the least 💕

Dogs got trained & trimmed, naps were taken, salsa was danced, some wine was had, new food was tasted (one is turning back home as a changed woman!), and ice hockey championships watched 😂

Thank you ladies, you know who you are - we're extremely thankful for your visit, moments shared, and the beautiful good energy you left behind in the Hamlet! A special thank you for your priceless help 🙏🥰

All this to say that we had a fab week with our "Happy Go Lucky" guests - hope everyone out there enjoyed theirs as well!

Double rainbow (for Maya’s memory 🫶🫶🫶). Sauna. Spider web hunting. Farmers’ market. Poppies (my favorites!). Some more renovations (pics to follow). Good times & good vibes. (oh and ice hockey world championships on the big screen, bien sûr 😂)

Happy Vappu! 🥂🎈🎉

You can celebrate the first of May or Labor Day or not party at all - or you can do it the Hamlet way: a whole week of ”Vappu” as a retreat! 🥳

All sorts of bubbles, in champagne and in the air, giggles, puzzles and tons of kitchen inspiration while cooking with the one and only 🤩😍

Le Vappu -retriitti has been so much fun that we’re definitely doing it again! 👉 Mark your calendars: April 26 - May 1, 2027 and let us know if you’re coming! Would ❤️ to see you here with us next year!

This view and the ambiance just melt my heart 💚

The Hamlet Retreat Season of 2026 has now officially kicked off and I couldn’t think of a sweeter start 😍 The Hamlet is full of good souls, beautiful smiles and already lots of laughs!

My ”before the season” to do list had way too many unticked boxes when the cars pulled in packed with our guests of the week. But hey, c’est la vie, and I am quite confident that we’re all good. Moments like this, watching and listening from a distance how strangers bond in no time - they make all the to do lists quite unimportant 💕

Thank you for being here with us .sil .korin & Tuija, Inku, Ulla, Eva & Elina 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 (one for each! 😂😘)

(A lot of) Work & (a tiny bit of) Fun
= season preparations madness 🤪

This past week mainly contained very hard work 💪Even for our VIP guests. We could’ve spent days enjoying the sunshine by the pool and long meals on the terrace with views. But the season preparations got the better of pleasure and fun 😅

No words could express well enough our gratitude to Mom & Dad ❤️❤️ From sunrise till sunset they kept working like dogs!! A bit ashamed that we make/let them sweat so much when they show up, but they really are always there when we need them, and willing to help us with anything and everything (and they seem to enjoy it!). MERCI INFINIMENT Jaja&Matti 💕🙏💕🙏

Truth said, without them the brand new terrace would not be ready to rock! 😍😍 We didn’t know what we asked for when we decided to take on this ”little” project 🙈🙈 But we managed and we’re super happy❣️ Many thanks go also to the other helping hands, our sweet interns Iina & Shams, who hammered the old one in bits and pieces (among many many other chores)! Merci beaucoup, les filles! 🙏🙏🫶🫶

On top of that, the usual stuff, so now: the pool is ready for the first dip of the season (and hey the pool weather is with us, too! ☀️). Flowers have been planted. The Guest House deep cleaned. The kitchen is bright and shiny. The outdoor furniture polished. The hammocks fixed in their secret shady spot. The sauna got washed - and some new furniture and decorations came along with the refresh! 👌

The list would be a lot longer, but we still have some this and that to do 😜

We’re eager to see what our first Finnish retreat guests of the season will say about this all tomorrow! YES tomorrow! Because that’s when they arrive - WOOHOOO!! SO EXCITED 🤩🥳😍

If the most beautiful shade of blue needed to be redefined, it would have to be this! 👌

Although right now our GREEN, WHITE, YELLOW, PINK, PURPLE, RED, BROWN & BLACK are not bad either ☺️

Mademoiselle Spring has really been kind to us. We’ve been spoiled with brilliant blue skies without a cloud and super bright sunshine for days. And all the other colors that come along!

Quite an energy boost - and very very very much appreciated 🙏

Spring Snapshots from the Hamlet☀️🍀🌸

Not a dull moment with this recipe: Work 💪 Play 🥳 Relax 😴 Repeat 💯

Cleaning the pool and its terrace. Fixing, oiling, painting outdoor furniture. Insane amount of weeding. New decors and other ideas (can’t make them stop coming 😅 thus Nico cannot stop working 🤭). Planting in the veggie garden. Kitchen inventory. Guest House deep clean. Dozens of loads of washing (at least they dry quickly in this heat!). Fixing and polishing this and that. And some more! Thankful four our helping hands & .alsabbaqh 🙏💕

Just realised we have not had a month without rentals, retreats or events since Februrary 2025! No wonder we’re getting busy a few weeks before our first group from Finland arrives! C A N N O T W A I T !! 😍😍😍

Hope the sun shines and the sky is as bright blue for each and everyone of you! Bisous with sweet&sunny&happy spring vibes 😘

The Hamlet garden is currently in stunning blossom - we wish you were here to enjoy it! 💚 But you almost can, because our lovely interns, Iina and Shams, have been busy bees shooting pics for you! 🐝🐝

To participate, look at the pictures in pairs: the first image shows the whole tree, and the second is a close-up (e.g. pics 1 and 2 represent tree #1... pics 19 and 20 = tree #10). Easy-peasy 👌
